What Defines Me
Passion for digital products
As a professional in product launches at Shopify, I've spent 5 years pitching ideas, contributing to product roadmaps, gathering user feedback, and identifying unmet user needs. Notably, we launched the Self-Serve Returns experience to 2 million merchants worldwide and shipped Sidekick, the world's first AI commerce assistant. I've transferred these skills to my UX toolbox to make informed, empathetic design decisions.
On a hunt to find the problem
Before embarking on my tech career, I worked as a TV host and journalist. I have always enjoyed asking questions and wouldn't rest until I got a meaningful answer. I have applied this skill to my design process to ensure that we solve the right problem from the outset.
Entrepreneurial spirit
I am also an entrepreneur and run my own e-commerce company called Pom Pom knits. We specialize in selling hand-made super chunky garments to keep folks warm and cozy during cold Canadian winters. My first-hand knowledge of e-commerce allows me to truly empathize with the millions of users around the globe who are trying to build their online presence.
When I am not busy designing
I am a HIIT training enthusiast, a travel addict (50+ countries ✔️), an avid skier, and a mom to 3 year old girl Sophia.
